What Our Customer’s Say
-
“I didn’t know I had a hearing problem until my daughter insisted on a test. The free trial was a revelation. Gus was recommended to me by a family friend, I had to travel from near Hartlepool but it was worth the visit. I was not rushed during my test and everything was explained in full. I have to say the difference some help has made! I now hear clearly and already my social and work life as a nurse and trainer at Darlington Memorial Hospital has been transformed. I’m very greatful!”

Our standard hearing test is £30 and covers a full health check of your ears, including video otoscopy where you get to see inside your own ear if you wish!
You also get a screening test on your current hearing levels and a print out of the results, which is called the 'audiogram'.
If you want or need a full advanced hearing test this is £60 and includes extra health checks such as Tympanometry that checks for any infection of the middle ear.
If you are unsure about what you need, we recommend the standard hearing test first.

The standard hearing screening test includes a review of your medical history, a physical examination of your ears and a series of hearing tests conducted by our certified audiologist. This is the one we recommend for everyone to start with.
The advanced test includes more in-depth testing and extra diagnostic health checks such as tympanometry.
-
The standard hearing screening test typically takes about 30 minutes.
If this shows any further checks are needed, we usually recommend a full advanced hearing test which can take up to 1 hour.
-
Not at all. The hearing test is completely painless and non-invasive. It involves listening to various sounds through headphones and answering some questions about your hearing experience.
-
Absolutely not. The hearing test is offered with no obligation to purchase any products or services. Our goal is to provide you with a comprehensive screening assessment of your hearing health and to offer recommendations based on your specific needs.
If you do need a hearing aid, we can give you a free trial if you wish but there is certainly no sales talk. We hate that stuff and cringe!
You can purchase hearing aids from any other supplier, not just the place of your hearing test.
