About Skelton Opticians
Skelton Optical was started in 2019. Prior to this it was Alison Hargreaves Opticians.
When I took over, I had been running the Loftus store for 8 years. Alison was wanting someone to take over and so I thought, why not?
All was going well and then a year later in 2020…COVID 19 struck!
However, I’m pleased to say we made it to the other side and I decided to bring the opticians up to the 21st century, installing high tech equipment and giving the old building a revamp inside.
One of my customers came in for an eye test and told me it was once her house and so we gave her a tour to reminisce.
It turns out the eye test room was once the living room. I’ve always felt it’s a cosy room although my staff think the old building is haunted!
